Mr. Viral is an app by Henri Irmscher — Appentwicklung, Seckbacher Landstr. 66, 60389 Frankfurt am Main, Germany ("we"). These terms cover the use of the app and the associated analysis service. By using Mr. Viral you accept them.
You submit a video, a hook line or a script. Mr. Viral sends it to an AI model and gives you a rating back: a score from 0 to 100, a breakdown by category and concrete suggestions for improvement. The app itself computes nothing; it forwards to our service and displays the result.
This is the most important point in these terms. The score is the opinion of an AI model that rates against known patterns for short-form video. It is not a promise and not a prediction of how your video will actually perform.
Decisions about your content, your business or your ad spend are yours. We are not liable for the success or failure of your videos.
Mr. Viral is for ages 16 and up. If you are younger, you may not use the app.
If you are between 16 and 18, you need a parent's or guardian's consent before taking out a paid subscription. Without that consent, please do not subscribe.
Mr. Viral needs no login. Your device receives an anonymous ID on first launch. That ID links your analyses to your device. Securing your device is up to you. Anyone using your unlocked device can also see your analyses in Mr. Viral.
Without an account there is no recovery. If you delete the app, sign out or switch devices, the ID is gone and your history is out of reach for you. A subscription you have bought comes back through "Restore purchases", because that runs through your app store. The old history does not come back.
Your videos, your hooks and your scripts belong to you. You only grant us the right to store and process them as far as necessary to run the analysis and show you the result. That right ends as soon as the data is deleted.
We do not use your content for advertising, do not train AI models on it and do not pass it to third parties, other than to the analysis service required to produce the rating. Which one that is, is set out in the Privacy Policy.
By uploading, you confirm that you hold the necessary rights to the material. Prohibited in particular:
If you break these rules, we may block your access and delete the affected data.
Mr. Viral can be used in a free version. It comes with a monthly allowance of analyses. On top of that there are technical limits that prevent abuse: a per-minute limit and a daily ceiling. The current figures are shown in the app under "Profil".
A fair-use limit also applies to paid subscriptions: up to 60 analyses within any 7 consecutive days, with video, hook and script analyses as well as AI rewrites counted together. "Unlimited" in the app means: no monthly allowance and no charge per individual analysis. The fair-use limit protects the service against automated bulk use and is practically unnoticeable in normal use. Once it is reached, capacity frees up automatically as older analyses fall out of the 7-day window.
We may change these allowances if our costs change. We announce material changes in the app. For a running paid subscription, changes only take effect from the next term.
Some features — currently video analysis — require a paid subscription. The purchase runs exclusively through the Apple App Store or Google Play, not through us.
As a consumer you generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal for digital content. Because the subscription is unlocked immediately after purchase and you agree to that immediate start when you buy, the right of withdrawal expires once the service has been fully supplied (§356(5) BGB). In any case, withdrawal and reversal are handled by your app store.
We do our best to keep Mr. Viral running, but we do not owe any particular level of availability. Maintenance, outages at the AI provider or technical problems can interrupt the service temporarily. If the service is down for a longer period while you hold a subscription, get in touch.
We may develop Mr. Viral further, change features or remove them. If we shut the service down entirely, we announce it in the app at least 30 days in advance and refund the unused portion of a running subscription on a pro-rata basis.
We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and under the German Product Liability Act.
For simple negligence we are liable only where a material contractual obligation has been breached — that is, an obligation whose fulfilment makes the proper performance of the contract possible in the first place and on whose observance you may regularly rely. In that case liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract.
Liability is otherwise excluded. In particular we are not liable for lost reach, lost income or decisions you made on the basis of a score.
You can stop using the service at any time by deleting the app. How to also have the data stored on the server erased is explained on the Delete data page.
We may block your access if you breach these terms. Where a subscription is running, we refund the unused portion pro rata in that case, unless the breach was intentional.
We may change these terms when the app, the legal situation or our service providers change. We announce material changes in the app. If you keep using Mr. Viral afterwards, the new terms apply. If you disagree, you can delete the app and have your data erased.
German law applies. If you are a consumer with your habitual residence in another EU country, the mandatory consumer protection rules of your country remain unaffected. If you are a business, the place of jurisdiction is Frankfurt am Main.
The European Commission's online dispute resolution platform is available at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/. Should any provision of these terms be invalid, the remainder stays in force. The statutory rule takes the place of the invalid provision.
